De forme rectangulaire, gainée de galuchat, le plateau compartimenté en losanges, le pourtour souligné d'un filet de laiton biseauté, reposant sur un piétement légèrement débordant à quatre pieds de section rectangulaire terminés par des sabots de laiton à gradin
Hauteur : 41 cm. (16 1/8 in.) ; Longueur : 120 cm. (47¼ in.) ; Profondeur : 50 cm. (19 5/8 in.)
Estampillée M. DU PLANTIER sous la ceinture

A LOW TABLE, BEFORE 1937
Rectangular, covered in shagreen, the top in lozenge pattern, with brass border, square section legs with stepped brass sabots

This table was probably made for Marc du Plantier's step-brother, Michel Knabel, Paris.

It will be illustrated in the forthcoming book on the decorator bt Yves Badetz, published by Norma, Paris
