Engraved document signed ("Napol"), 15 May 1809. 1 page, oblong folio, ON PARCHMENT, hand-colored illuminated crest at upper left corner (a green tree bearing orange fruit, beneath a red bar, on a silver background), boldly engraved "NAPOLÉON" at top, bottom left corner detached, wrinkling on upper right quadrant. Napoleon grants letters of patent to Sir Guichard. -- Printed document signed ("Bonaparte") as First Consul, Saint-Cloud, 22 Prairial l'An 11 (13 June 1803). 1 page, folio, paper seal of the Republic at bottom, small hole in seal. Napoleon appoints a judge in the town of Rougemont. Together two items. (2)
