Lot Essay

Nick Lowe’s Kitchen is an intrinsic interplay of figuration and abstraction, as Lowe expertly deconstructs the domestic site into a complex perspectival play. The vector lines established by each carefully rendered object amount to an interweaving linear tracery that breaks up and re-organizes the composition into segmented parts.
