With gilt-finished chain fusée movement, sping detent escapement with jewelled locking stone, bimetallic balance with segmental weights, blued steel helical spring with diamond endstone, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt spade hands, subsidiary seconds, in plain silver case, engraved inscriptions depicting the various navigations, destinations and year of a certain captain F. Juteau to the reverse, centred by engraved initials FJ, dial and movement signed, case stamped CL
