Two monochrome watercolour production sketches, both M.G.M. production no.1566, one signed by artist Constall the other by Bushman, the former depicting a doubles tennis match in a covered stadium, the latter Katharine Hepburn putting, both 10¼ x 14¾in., one framed. (2)

Lot Essay

Pat and Mike, 1952, directed by George Cukor starred Spencer Tracy as a small-time sports promoter who takes on a female intellectual multi-champion played by Katharine Hepburn. It was the last Tracy-Hepburn film at M.G.M. and received an Academy Award nomination.
