Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and engine-turned case in 1938 and its subsequent sale on 29 August 1938.

To the best of our knowledge this watch is one of only seven examples of reference 600 in yellow gold case with black dial known to date and furthermore the only one with engine-turned case, confirmed by the Extract.
