Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with silvered dial and raised gold hour markers in 1942 and its subsequent sale on 1 October 1945. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe presentation box and outer packaging.

Reference 725 and the nearly identical reference 725/2 were in production from 1940 until around 1964. Until to date, less than 20 examples of this model are known to have survived.
