Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie dated 7 December 1958 and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with yellow gold bracelet in 1958 and its subsequent sale on 14 November 1958. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe black leather presentation box. The present watch has never been offered in public before.

Reference 2591 was in production from 1957 until the early 1970s. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 189, pl. 295.
