With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 26 April 1956.
Reference 2508 is undoubtedly one of Patek Philippe's most magnificent time only wristwatches. Not only is it blessed with the same case shape and proportions like the firm's celebrated chronograph reference 1463 but also impresses with its clean and perfectly balanced dial design. The present watch furthermore stands out by an immaculate case finish, the result of nearly no wear in over 50 years of life and most likely not a single polish since new. Consequently, it displays its original case proportions to the very best extent and pleases with a perfect dial patina as the most demanding collectors would hope for.
