With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1971 and its subsequent sale on 4 December 1972.

Fresh to the market, the present watch is a well-preserved example of the well-known reference 3445 "Monodate".

Reference 3445, Patek Philippe's first calendar watch made in series, was in production from 1961 to 1981. The model and its calibre 24-460M movement are illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, first édition, pp. 220 & 221.
