With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with Breguet numerals and luminous dots in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 11 October 1951.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch is one of only two examples of reference 2483 in stainless steel with subsidiary seconds featuring Breguet numerals and luminous accents to appear in public to date. It furthermore stands out by its naturally aged dial showing a charismatic gilt patina and the sharp edges of the well preserved case.

Reference 2483 was in production from 1950 until the mid 1950s, the models were available with subsidiary seconds or sweep centre seconds. It is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 182, pl. 290.
