With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with amagnetic movement in 1962 and its subsequent sale on 22 July 1963.

Manufacture of reference 3417 was launched in 1958 with calibre 12'''400 AM. As of 1960, the model was fitted with calibre 27-AM 400 until its discontinuation in the late 1960s.
