With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with opaline-white dial and diamond hour markers in 1997 and its subsequent sale on 27 August 1997.

Patek Philippe introduced reference 4900 in 1997 in a limited edition of 500 examples in yellow gold, 150 in pink gold and 100 in white gold. This lady's model was manufactured in conjunction with the men's Pagoda reference 5500 to celebrate the inauguration of the Patek Philippe watchmaking center at Plan-Les-Ouates in Geneva.
