The reference 3428, introduced in 1960 and produced until the mid-1960s, is the successor of Patek Philippe's first model featuring an automatic movement, the reference 2526. Whereas the reference 2526 is fitted with the celebrated caliber 12-600, the reference 3428 is equipped with the second generation automatic movement, the caliber 27-460.
