With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1966 and its subsequent sale on February 4th of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

Gilbert Albert, born in 1930, is a world-renowned Swiss master jeweler and designer. He was designer and Head of Patek Philippe's workshop from 1955-1962. During his time at Patek, he was responsible for numerous creations including, among others, the famous "asymmetric" series and this Ricochet pocket watch. Albert opened his own workshop in Geneva in 1962, and has won numerous international awards and prizes for his designs. He also opened a retail boutique in Geneva in 2000.
