"WE ARE IN FOR REVOLUTION AND BIG KILLING"

A letter of blatant anti-semitism, quite possibly reflecting Patton's exposure to the propaganda of Hitler's Mein Kampf, which he had recently read in English translation (see lot 259). After asking Jerry to send a check to someone, he adds that "I was talking to a rather famous news paper writer the other day named 'Bob' Davis who agrees with me that we are in for a revolution and big killing. As most such activities have been run by jews you had better get to work on your nose and improve the book so that possibly you at least will be saved."
