P. Frankl, Form and Re-Form: A Practical Handbook of Modern Interiors, New York, 1930, p. 24 for an illustration of this chair.

The present chair is a scarce example of modernist nickel-plated steel furniture designed by Paul Frankl. This example is accompanied by a matching replica, commissioned by the vendor in 2005, and executed by Michael S. Smith Incorporated.
