In the style of Reverend Henry Young (C. 1792-1861) circa 1830 this fraktur incorporates traditional elements of flowers, foliage and birds, however, it also uniquely illustrates two rearing unicorns. Both fantastical and layered with symbolism, the unicorn, often associated with the incarnation of Christ, offers a beautiful contrast to the classical fraktur. The unicorns here are pure and graceful, underscored only by their equally elegant rendering.
