Collation: a-b8 c-d6 e-k8.6 l-m8 A-Q8.6 R6 S8 (a1 blank, a2r author's prologue, abbreviations for authors cited, a2v list of peoples addressed by Paul in his letters, a3r text, S8r colophon, S8v blank). 212 leaves. 37 lines, double column. Type: 2:109G (text), 3:147G (headings). 3- to 6-line initials and some capital strokes in red. (Occasional light dampstaining, rust marks from bosses in first and final leaves.) Contemporary pigskin over wooden boards, blindstamped, printed leaf pastedowns, vellum Hebrew MS. spine liners (missing corner and central pieces and two fore-edge clasps, slight wear at spine extremities), one roll possibly Schwenke-Sammlung Jagdrolle 13 = Art Wien Jagdrollen-Meister. Provenance: contemporary and later annotations; Burghausen, Jesuit College, inscription dated 1646.

The interesting press of Conrad Dinckmut much more usually produced books in German. Although in Latin, the nature of this work, an explanatory aid to follow the lessons read at services throughout the year, does fit in with Dinckmut's predilection for printing books with a devotional concern.
