QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The censer is cast with a compressed globular body raised on three cabriole legs with a pair of bail handles rising from the mouth rim, decorated on the exterior with a lotus scroll below a blue ruyi-head border repeated around each of the supports, with three floral sprays on the underside surrounding a gilt-bronze panel incised with the reign mark and an additional character, chang below.
