Sura al-baqara II vv.124-125 (part), manuscript on cream paper, with 3ll. of fine dark sepia muhaqqaq, letter pointing in same ink, vocalisation in gold, sukun and tashdid in blue, small gold roundel containing the word aya in gold eastern kufic, similar large marginal medallion containing the verse count, trimmed, old fold marks, repaired at edges, mounted

This Qur'an has been dated to the end of the 12th, beginning of the 13th century based on the illumination. Sections from this elegant Qur'an are in the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, MS.1487m, and the Nasser D. Khalili Collection, London.
