Arabic manuscript on paper, 359ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh script divided by black-ruled gold interlinear divisions, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in magenta thuluth script on gold ground within illuminated cartouches, text within double gold and polychrome frame, marginal markers in magenta thuluth script with gold and polychrome floral illumination, catchwords, opening and final bifolios with extensive gold and polychrome illuminated margins and headpieces, in original lacquer covered binding
