Arabic manuscript on paper, 301ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 14ll. of black naskh script, with gold rosette verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script on gold ground within illuminated cartouche, text within gold, blue and black rules, some words with interlinear Persian translation in red, with occasional marginal notes, catchwords, illuminated marginal medallions, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination, colophon stating it was copied by Ahmad al-Nayrizi and giving the date of Rabi's AH 1123, various ownership inscriptions, in lacquered binding with calligraphic inscriptions
