Arabic manuscript on paper, 262ff. as numbered plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of elegant black sini, gold verse roundels, sura headings in red ink, gold and polychrome marginal medallions and cusped palmettes marking various points in the text, first folio with a large illuminated shamsa containing a geometric pattern with scrolling vine on coloured ground, following bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination surrounding text and issuing marginal medallions, the final bifolio with similar gold and polychrome illumination, in brown morocco with cusped flap with a stamped sini style calligraphic roundel and floral borders, blue cloth doublures
