Arabic manuscript on paper, 218ff., each with 20ll. of small black naskh script in bands on gold ground, with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, sura headings in red naskh script on gold ground within illuminated cartouche, text within double black-ruled gold frame, with gold and polychrome marginal medallions as section markers, numerous pages with illuminated margins, opening bifolium with gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces and margins, Qur'anic text followed with a short prayer, in restored lacquered floral binding
