Scudiero Divarii Disegni d'Arme e Targhe (cf. Berlin Kat. 561; Guilmard p. 317)

the complete set of 42 etchings including title, with the artist's self-portrait in a cartouche, and dedication, 1636, very fine impressions of this exceedingly rare set of designs for armorial cartouches, printing with platetone and wiping marks, published by the artist in Florence, 1636, watermarks Rampant Lion in Oval with Coronet above, and Cross in Oval under Coronet, all with wide margins, some sheets stained and foxed, minor stains and foxing elsewhere; with two drawings in pen and brown ink of armorial designs, presumably by Agostino Mitelli, bound in at the back; with red marbled sheet edges, all in 19th century half-sheep (front cover detached)
