A similar clock is in the Beijing Palace Museum Collection, illustrated in Timepieces Collected by Qing Emperors in the Palace Museum, Hong Kong, 1995, pl. 46. A comparable example decorated with the bajixiang was sold at Sotheby's, Paris, 10 December 2019, lot 32.
