US$5,000-7,500

Reference 6512 is interesting due to the case that is considerably thinner than the standard Oyster case. The caliber 1000 was made for only one year, in 1955. This watch is illustrated in "Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches", by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 123.
