The present timepiece is offered in absolutely unspoiled, virtually new-old-stock condition still retaining the original protective sticker to the case back, and complete with its original guarantee and box.
It is a rare variation of reference 16700 as its dial is a so-called “Swiss Only” version: the designation at 6 o’clock reads simply “Swiss”. This dial can only be found on watches bearing serial numbers from late U to A (1998/1999), when the reference was discontinued. It indicated the presence of Luminova instead of tritium, for which the designation Swiss – T<25 was used.
