Lot Essay

With Rolex original Guarantee issued on 12 june 2002, spare strap, instructions, green lizard leather pouch, green lizard leather fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

The present watch is a lovely example of Daytona reference 116519. Nicknamed "Beach", possibly because of its playful looks, this model was available in 4 colors: green, blue, pink and yellow. The dials were made either in Chrysophrase (the blue and the green versions), or Mother-of-pearl (the yellow and the pink versions), and the watches came with lizard straps matching the dial color. An instant classic, the Daytona Beach is one of the most collectible modern versions of the Daytona.

The present example is offered superbly preserved and "complete" with its original box and guarantee, a condition that is bound to appeal to the Rolex connoisseur, especially considered the high collectability of this modern Rolex classic.
