The reference 5520 Air-King GoldShell model could be found in Rolex catalogues from 1974 until 1986.

The present watch features two reference numbers: 5520 on the body which refers to its characteristics and 1024 in the case back. As the case bodies and backs were interchangeable at the factory, reference 1024 belongs to the series of references to which it belongs.
