ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER GHOST VICTORIA TOURING BODYWORK

Details
ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER GHOST VICTORIA TOURING BODYWORK

This magnificent ceremonial style coachbuilt body was constructed for a 1912 Rolls-Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost as a replica of the Victoria Touring body that was built in India for the Maharajah of Mysore on his 1911 Silver Ghost, chassis number 1683.

The exact age of the body is unknown, but thought to be about twelve to fifteen years old and the coachbuilder has not been identified. The quality of construction and workmanship is of the highest order and comes as a complete body with rear opening doors, a full width retractable cape cart hood, sumptuous red deep buttoned leather upholstery and a two piece angled full width windscreen. This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to rebody a 40/50 Silver Ghost or an alternative chassis of similar dimensions.
