Each shallow dish delicately painted in underglaze-blue and colored enamels with two birds above chrysanthemums and waves within a border of floral diaperwork executed in alternating underglaze-blue and underglaze-blue with enamel centers, the underside of each dish painted in underglaze-blue with attenuated sprays of foliage and with three lines encircling the foot, another slender line within the shallow recessed base, rims painted in iron-brown enamel, four spur marks on bases, foot rims unglazed
