Paolozzi made the 'Walkman' - first marketed by Sony in 1979 - the subject of other bronze heads in 1984. For a variation on it see the exhibition catalogue 'Eduardo Paolozzi, Recurring Themes' (Edinburgh, 1984, p. 46, no. A125).
