VARIOUS MAKERS, MOSCOW AND ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890-1900s
All ovoid, two silver eggs with hinged covers, enclosing miniatures depicting the Resurrection of Christ, engraved in front with a cross, the reverse engraved with Russian inscription ‘Christ is Risen’, with suspension loops; three silver-gilt eggs enamelled overall with scrolling foliage in varicoloured enamel on stippled ground, one with hinged covers and suspension loop, the reverse with Cyrillic initials ‘Kh.V.’; one with hinged cover, engraved with a floral motive, with a silver push-piece, all marked throughout
