RUSSIAN, MAKER'S MARK E.R. IN CYRILLIC, MOSCOW, 1895
The two saints depicted full length, turning slightly towards each other, St. Peter holding the keys of Paradise, St. Paul carrying a sword and the Book of Gospels, Christ emerging from the clouds above, raising both his hands in blessing, painted realistically, the silver oklad with traces of gilding, the border with hammered stylised motifs, the corners applied with enamelled roundels, each displaying a red cross within a dotted circumference
