(155x2.49cm.); accompanied by four sheets of cream Daily Planet headed stationery, and four smaller sheets of white Daily Planet Metropolis headed stationery -- made for the 1980 Warner Bros. film Superman II

Lot Essay

The Daily Planet is the newspaper where Clark Kent works as a journalist and where much of the plot of the film unfolds. The flag can be seen flying from the front of the building outside the editor's office, and similar stationery is seen pinned to the noticeboard in Lois Lane's office.
