One of the most popular of the Avengers episodes, The Gravediggers was originally aired on U.K. television on 9th October, 1965. Pearl Orton who has signed the menu included in this lot was the series' hairdresser at this time, Paul Massie, played a character called Dr. Johnson in this episode.
