An accompanying letter from Stones' fan Shiela Agnew recounts how her devotion to the group took over her life. Following two unanswered letters to Brian Jones, she finally wrote a third time accusing him of neglecting his fans and this time received a response from him. She also describes how she obtained the lock of hair from Brian Jones' head at Newcastle City Hall. The opportunity arose when after a bout of faintness she was helped out of the nearest exit which happened to be the stage door at the same time as The Stones were leaving the stage ...I always carried nail scissors with me just in case an opportunity like this should occur....
