Similar to the U.S. 40 x 30 in. posters, U.S. 60 x 40 in. posters were produced on heavy stock paper and were displayed outside at drive-in cinemas. They were produced in much fewer numbers than U.S. one-sheets and, as they were displayed outside and exposed to the elements, few survived. Please see lots 516, 534, 590 and 674 for other examples.
