The two works in one volume, 8°(150 x 105mm.). Contemporary blindstamped vellum, over wooden boards, covers with leaf frond borders and central panel of smaller flower motifs, original clasp (upper cover stained). Provenance: Achatus Pignelus? (early 16th Century signature and inscription on title page); Volmer Hobeling (presentation inscription dated 1590); Melchior Gruöber (inscribed and dated 1645); Benedictine Monastry of Sainte Croix and Saint Martin at Wiblingen (18th Century inscrpition)
An interesting pair of incunables, the second work also ascribed to Johann Amerbach by Proctor, and to Richard Pafraet of Deventer [1491?] by Campbell. The British Library copy is inscribed by Michael Furter, the printer.
