Born in 1915 in Turkey, T.S. La Fontaine studied art at Heatherley's, London, under Middleton Todd and elsewhere. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Now retired, La Fontaine paints primarily on a commission basis, depicting well-known sportsmen, celebrated horses, and prized bird dogs.
