THREE ANCIENT BRONZE ATTACHMENTS
CIRCA 5TH CENTURY B.C.-2ND CENTURY A.D.
Each in the form of a ram's head, including a Greek terminal, circa 5th century B.C., perhaps once joined to a rhyton, the mouth open to serve as a spout, the curving neck open in back to the hollow interior, the rim with four perforations, two preserving a single pin for attachment; a Roman appliqué, circa 1st century B.C.-1st century A.D., in profile to the right, cast with a flat back, originally soldered to a vessel; and a Roman handle, circa 2nd century A.D., cast in one piece with a hollow tube, its rim perforated for attachment
