THREE SILVER TWO HANDLED COVERED SUGAR BOWLS, with maker's marks of: comprising; the first, pear shaped with fluted corners, on four foliate scroll feet, each side chased with floral spray on matted ground within scrolls, the shoulder further chased with floral swags, with two foliate scoll handles, the domed conformingly decorated cover with acorn finial--stamped BALL BLACK & CO., MARQUAND & CO. NEW YORK--circa 1835--7½in. (19cm.) high; the second, compressed circular, on four acanthus headed, lion's paw and ball feet, the shoulder initialled, above with die-rolled oak leaf and acorn band, with two lion's mask drop ring handles, the molded detachable circular cover with varying die-rolled fruit and floral band surrounding the low domed fruit and flower filled center, issuing acanthus bud finial--Garret Eoff, circa 1810--8in. (20.3cm.) high; the third, partly fluted pear shaped on four foliate bracket feet, engraved with floral arabesque panels, one cartouche monogrammed, one dated 1893, with two scroll handles, the conformingly decorated low domed, detachable cover with gourd form finial--Hamilton & Diesinger, circa 1895--5¼in.
