The first two bearing paper labels hand-written with FRASER CASTLE
In 1921, Weetman Dickinson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray purchased Castle Fraser for his son, The Hon. Clive Pearson (later 2nd Visctount Cowdray). The family took great care to restore castle with the help of architect William Kelly, who also worked for the family at Dunecht House. In 1976, the castle and 26 acres of land were gifted to the National Trust for Scotland.
