comprising: one in the style of Sèvres modelled as a shepherd and shepherdess seated in 18th century dress with a sheep on their laps above a scroll-moulded base; the other depicting Venus tormenting Cupid, the goddess seated above a mound bending Cupid's bow as if to break it as the anguished Cupid looks on -- 15½in. (39.5cm.)
