The single-edged blades slightly curving upward, tapering and becoming double-edged toward the tip, one with double gutter, the other with slightly rounded ridge, the ox horn hilt of typical form, a ring with polychrome enamels above the guards, the gold damascened decoration with floral arabesques on the blades's forte and interlocking motifs on the guards, one blade dated AH 1308 and inscribed 'amala (bi?) Fas, with original scabbards with long silver-gilt fitting, one covered with red velvet, the other with green velvet, each with two suspension loops and a long cord
