Two majolica rectangular sardine dishes and covers
one with fixed stand, possibly Samuel Lear, moulded with flowers on bands of branches between mons and semi circular cracked ice pattern ground, enriched in pale colours, impressed registration lozenge (cover cracked) -- 24.5cm. wide; the other with swan finial and supported by fish to each corner, perhaps American (minor damages) -- 16cm. wide, both late 19th century
