Two Qingbai Foliate-Form Dishes
Song dynasty, 12th-13th century
One of small size, the shallow sides rising from a flat base and molded on the interior as chrysanthemum petals rising to a scalloped rim, all but the rim covered with a glaze of bright pale blue tone; the other with flared lower body rising from a neat ring foot to foliated sides flaring to a slightly everted, petal-cut rim, all but the interior of the foot covered with a glaze of pale blue tone
