"Collection of anatomical plates inspired by Vesalius's Fabrica, followed by Vesalius's text of Suorum de humani corporis fabrica librorum epitome and comments by Jacques Grévin. A first Latin edition was issued in 1566 by Plantin. A second followed in 1572 and a third one in 1579. However, several copies are dated 1579 in the colophon and 1572 on the title-page ...." (Sorgeloos). This copy has a variant collation to that given by Adams, having one additional leaf to gathering I but one less leaf to gathering L.
